The grounds are well-maintained and ideal for relaxation, with a lovely pool area between the buildings. The old AC system did manage to cool the room adequately, and a microwave and coffee pot made it convenient for light meals. However, check-in was dreadfully slow, and the room could definitely use some updates to match the otherwise beautiful property. Enjoying hand-cut beef tartare at breakfast was a delightful surprise.
